The SHIA Family CIC is a compassionate community interest company dedicated to supporting bereaved parents and families affected by pregnancy, baby, and child loss. Established in memory of the founder's beloved son, Shia, the organization aims to provide comfort and assistance through creativity, connection, and compassionate spaces, helping individuals express love, navigate grief, and find community while prioritizing mental well-being during challenging times.

Services Offered:

  • Personalized Memorial Items: The SHIA Family creates customized keepsakes, such as soft, cuddly teddies, elegant plaques, and flower chairs, serving as tangible tributes to lost babies. Each item is carefully crafted to honor the unique memory of each child. ​

  • Creative Memorial Workshops: The organization offers workshops that provide a safe space for parents to explore their emotions and memories through creative expression. These sessions aim to honor the memory of lost children while fostering healing and supporting mental well-being. ​

  • Employer Training Program (Coming Soon): The SHIA Family is developing a program to assist employers in creating more compassionate environments for bereaved parents returning to work.
