AtaLoss is committed to collaborating with organisations across the bereavement, charitable, public and commercial sectors in the UK.

We want to partner with like-minded organisations to fulfil our vision of ensuring everyone who has been bereaved in the UK finds timely and appropriate support to process their loss for their present and future well-being.

Together we can tackle the prevailing culture of “death denial” that makes death a taboo subject and improve the health and well-being of the populations we serve.

We want to be practical as well as visionary in supporting people through bereavement, by working collaboratively with experts in multiple disciplines.

We are grateful for the reciprocal support our Partners provide, whether through the sharing of their expertise, benefits in kind, subscriptions for services, sponsorships or encouraging donations from their workforce and supporters.

Why Partner with Ataloss?

We know that:

  • 1 in 3 UK adults have had someone important to them die in the last two years.

  • The majority of bereaved people do not find the support they need

  • Many bereaved people haven’t processed grief sufficiently, leaving them vulnerable to mental ill-health or triggered pain at any stage of life.

  • For some people of working-age grief can be so disabling that they are unable to work; for others it can affect the quality of their work, their relationships, concentration, productivity, attendance and retention in their role.

  • The majority of bereaved people will be able to process the impact of their bereavement healthily if they find timely, understanding support.

As a charity we provide comprehensive, UK-wide signposting to bereavement support services and information - aiming for a gold standard and universal referral.

We are expert in helping organisations understand the impact of grief and bereavement and are committed to adding value to the wellbeing of employees and client services.

We provide valuable local support through our community bereavement support programme The Bereavement Journey®, offered through over 400 registered providers in the UK.

We encourage you to collaborate with us for mutual benefit.
