Running regular Bereavement Café’s in Hexham, Prudhoe and Ponteland with the aim of bringing together and supporting those in the community who have experienced the loss of someone close to them. The Cafés operate on a drop-in basis and offer a safe space for people to come together, regardless of how recent or how long ago their bereavement was. There is no obligation to talk, it could simply be an opportunity to meet others and share a cup of tea or coffee in the company of others who understand. Trained members of the Family Support team from Tynedale Hospice at Home will be on hand to welcome people and make sure they feel comfortable.
