The Shakespeare Hospice
The Shakespeare Hospice offer bereavement support to children and young people between the ages of 5 and 18. They also help to support children and their families if someone close to them has a life limiting illness. Children are given opportunities to talk about their fears and anxieties in 1-1 sessions with a support worker and they are also invited to join in our groups so that they can meet other children who have been through a similar situation.
They also work closely with schools and teaching staff who may be supporting children and provide training either at the hospice or at school.
