The Co-operative Funeral Care Bereavement Service
Bereavement Care is a free service designed to support your emotional, practical and social needs, providing access to one to one bereavement counselling, friendship/social and support groups and memorial services across the southern counties.
Bereavement Care is a small team of dedicated professionals, with extensive knowledge of bereavement, grief and loss and experience in counselling.
Services include:
- One to One bereavement counselling – face to face, telephone or via Microsoft Teams.
- Bereavement Wellbeing Support Groups. Meet other people experiencing bereavement, helping and supporting each other through this difficult time. These support groups meet once a month in locations across the south as well as virtually via Microsoft Teams.
- Friendship groups. Make new friends and gain confidence at these friendly social groups.
- Mindfulness Sessions. Learn simple mindfulness practices and explore how mindfulness can help support selfcare. These sessions are held virtually via Microsoft Teams.
