Penumbra
The bereaved by suicide support service across Ayrshire and Arran is designed to support people and families who have recently been bereaved by suicide.
The service operates seven days a week; it will make initial contact with bereaved families within 24 hours of a referral and specially trained bereavement support workers will provide customised support relevant to each family’s circumstances.
The compassionate and highly trained team will be able to identify and offer practical and emotional support to people accessing the service. Their team will have the ability to work collaboratively across other local services
The service is for anyone in Ayrshire and Arran impacted by the loss of someone to suicide. This includes families and friends as well as children and young people. Children and young people are supported by the service by referral through their family unit.
