Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Bereavement Service
The hospital provides a compassionate administrative and signposting service to support families cared for in the John Radcliffe, Churchill, Horton and Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospitals in the immediate period after a patient has died. This includes a rapid response service for families who have lost a child or adult suddenly and to assist families trying to meet cultural and religious requirements for funerals or repatriation. The service also offers bereavement support following pregnancy and neonatal loss and has options for funeral arrnagements for babies dying at, or near, the time of death.
