Isabel Hospice
A team of trained Bereavement support workers and counsellors are here to offer one-to-one support for anyone who had a relative or friend who was cared for by Isabel Hospice or people who were bereaved in other ways. They work with both bereaved adults and children.
- They also offer a reciprocal service for those whose relatives have died in other hospices, but who live in the area.
- Child Bereavement support and care to all children in Eastern Hertfordshire
- Mindfulness courses available.
- For the children : group work and 1-1 support is available.
- Children are supported whether or not associated with a hospice patient.
- Grief Encounters Bereavement group which is a 6 week course in Welwyn Garden City, Hoddesdon and Bishops Stortford. Need to self refer to be added to a group.
- Compassionate cafes which are drop in social meet ups and are in Broxbourne, Ware, Hatfield, Bishops Stortford, Welwyn Garden City, Waltham Cross, Cheshunt and Hertford- no need to self refer.
- Both of these services are available to anyone whether they are associated with a hospice patient or not.
