Providing guidance for any bereaved person – referrals can be through any means, including self-referral. Bereavement packs can be sent out for children that contain a bereavement work book and a story book about grief. They also have books for adults on how to support children with loss, these include specific circumstances such as explaining suicide, manslaughter, military deaths and when a loved one has a terminal illness.
If support is not available for your circumstances from existing organisations, then they will endeavour to provide it for you. Examples of support provided are: counselling, art therapy, dance therapy, music therapy and financial help to travel to bereavement support.
