CancerCare
CancerCare is an independent charity dedicated to helping people and their families in North Lancashire and South Cumbria who have been affected by cancer, life-shortening illnesses, or those bereaved by cancer, life-shortening illness, sudden and unexpected death.
We offer a range of complimentary therapy services, including one-to-one counselling, group sessions and other forms of holistic therapy. The services are provided by professional and highly trained practitioners and each client's journey is tailored to suit their individual needs and requirements. The services are designed to complement treatment and advice from other healthcare professionals.
As well as services for adults, CancerCare also supports children and young people who have experienced loss or have been impacted by cancer.
We have four centres in Lancaster, Kendal, Barrow-in-Furness and Morecambe, as well as a wealth of online resources.
