ACC is the only Christian UK-wide counselling organisation holding an Accredited Register with the Professional Standards Authority. The ACC ‘Find a Counsellor’ directory includes members who are specifically trained to work with bereavement throughout the UK.
All counsellors practice within a professional ethical framework, and work with clients of any faith or none. ACC counsellors do not bring their personal faith into the sessions, but if the client wishes to explore the impact of bereavement on their religious beliefs or spirituality, the counsellor will be able to facilitate this.
