Bereavement Training from AtaLoss

AtaLoss offers a range of training to equip individuals, professionals and organisations to understand grief and support people who are bereaved. Whether you’re looking for something to work through at your own pace or bespoke training for your team, we have something for you.

Level 1 — Understanding Bereavement (Coming soon. Contact us if you are interested.)

For bereaved individuals and anyone wanting to support them

Two filmed 45-minute sessions, £5 each, purchasable through our website:

  • 1A   Understanding grief and the impact of bereavement

  • 1B   How to help someone who is grieving, and personal wellbeing

Level 2 — Professional CPD Series (Coming soon. Contact us if you are interested.)

For professionals in bereavement-adjacent roles (completion of Level 1 required)

Three filmed 1-hour sessions, £30 each, purchasable through our website:

  • 2A  Grief, mourning and bereavement: complex grief, clinical markers, dimensions of bereavement

  • 2B  Practical tools for compassionate engagement with bereaved individuals

  • 2C Grief literacy and organisational responses to people who are grieving

A certificate is available on completion of each module.

Level 3 — Bespoke In-Person Training

For organisations

Tailored training for your workforce or client-facing teams — whether to support bereaved employees or to equip staff to better support bereaved customers and clients. Cost depends on the number of hours involved (preparation, travel and delivery) and the number in attendance, and  expenses, and generally starts at  £1,000 plus travel. Chargeable as a fee or payable by (tax deductable) donation.
